The Future Cities; Livable Futures will feature an exhibition on Watershed Urbanism at the 2020 Venice Architecture Biennale exhibitions. The exhibition will open May 2020 at the European Cultural Center in Palazzo Bemboin Venice, Italy.
The 13 counties making up the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex currently has a population of 7 million people and is on track to soon becoming 10 million. In 2018 the metroplex experienced the largest growth in the state of Texas and it is one of the fastest growing cities in the US. The Future Cities; Livable Futures exhibition on Watershed Urbanism will focus on sustainable living in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and more specifically the impact growth in the metroplex is having on the Trinity watershed system with a view to exploring innovative responses to this situation.
