Tony Fry is currently a Professor, Design Futures Program, Griffith University, Brisbane. Tony is an award-winning designer in sustainable urban design. Between 1992 and 2002 he was director of the EcoDesign Foundation Sydney. He has works as a consultant on design and sustainability for government, the corporate sector and NGOs for many years. Recently Tony led a three year research and development project to create a college of creative industries in East Timor and is currently developing other international projects. Tony is the author of ten books, his latest – Becoming Human by Design was published in 2012. Currently Tony is working on a book on ‘the future of cities in the age of a changing climate’ to be published in 2014.
