Elisandra Garcia

Elisandra Garcia is currently a Visiting Assistant Professor of Architecture and Design for Spatial Justice Fellow at UO. Her research focuses on urban violence that perpetuates spatial and social inequities in the built environment. She is also the Director of Engagement and Project Lead at El Dorado Architects. Elisandra has been a Social and Environmental Justice activist since 2014 and has spearheaded fundraising and community organizing efforts at the US and Mexico border supporting organizations working to mitigate Urban Violence. Her work expands into community engagement, social research, and representation methods to communicate complex social issues in urban and architectural spaces.
